Our major emphasis is on the small, closely-held business and the tax, financial and planning needs of those businesses. We also address the tax and financial needs of the business owners with a special emphasis being placed on high income, high net worth individuals. Additionally, we address the tax and financial needs of estates and trusts including employee benefit plans and private foundations.

Over the years we have gained expertise and reputation in small business accounting and bookkeeping systems. We are registered as Intuit QuickBooks Certified Professional Advisors and we are anxious to share this knowlege with our clients.

With regard to investment advice our firm is committed to a fee-only philosophy. We do not accept commissions or other remuneration from sources other than our clients. We recognize that many CPA firms have embraced commission-sharing arrangements and recommend certain commissionable products as a way of supplementing their firm's income. However, we will not accept any commission as a result of our recommendations or referrals. We believe that by operating in this traditional manner our recommendations will always be in our clients' best interest without the financial influence of third parties.

Jonathan Gouthro joined the firm in 2004 and was admitted as a partner on January 1, 2009. Jon's areas of emphasis are taxation, accounting and audit.
