Mr. Walton began his accounting career in 1976 and received his CPA certificate the following year in 1977. He is a past president of the Atlantic Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He also served as a Trustee of the FICPA Health Benefit Trust for eight years as well as serving on a number of state level committees for the FICPA.

His civic activities have included serving as President and Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of West Boca Raton. He is currently Treasurer of the Volen Center in Boca Raton.

His practice areas focus on small corporate clients and their tax, accounting and financial problems and the tax and financial problems of their shareholders. Emphasis is also placed on high net worth individuals and estates and trusts as well as tax planning of individuals and entities.

He is a Registered Investment Adviser in the State of Florida passing the Series 65 - Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination in 1998. In July 2006 Mr. Walton was awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
