Tansey joined Walton Rahal CPAs June 2008. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in 2007. 

In 2015, she was awarded Enrolled Agent status with the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.

She is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Phi Kappa Phi; the college level Honors Society.

Tansey focuses on corporate and individual income tax return preparation, preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements, and special assignments for high net worth individuals.

 In her spare time she enjoys traveling and visiting family.
