Tara Deering was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Nassau County Long Island. After graduating High School, she attended Briarcliffe College where she received her Associates Degree in Business Administration. She continued her education at Hofstra University receiving her Bachelor’s Degree. After college, she started her first job in the Financial Services Industry at David Lerner Associates in Syosset, New York. Tara has been working in the Financial Services industry for over 20 years. She moved down to Florida in 2005 to be closer to her family.

Tara joined Walton Rahal CPAs February 2015. She helps manage the day-to-day operations of the firm. She currently serves on the Community Appearance Board for the City of Lighthouse Point. When she is not working in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and continuing her Black Belt Goal in Martial Arts.
